Senior Digital Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-speed digital design, baseband design, and signal integrity analysis and simulation.
• Plan and execute moderately-defined responsibilities for integration, test, and transition of power management ICs.
• Design CPU-based circuit boards and cards for consumer electronics, wireless devices, and low power platforms.
• Conduct digital component level evaluation, optimization, unit level testing, and RF debug of platform hardware.
• Support Design Engineers with the setup and execution of complex tests and component evaluations related to baseband designs.
• Define platform requirements and architecture, and document hardware platforms through schematic and BOM capture.
• Collaborate with CAD teams on PWB layout and lab-based design verification.
• Contribute actively to design reviews and project meetings.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; OR a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5 years of progressive experience.
• Proven experience in high-speed digital design.
• Experience in baseband design.
• Proficiency in signal integrity analysis and simulation.
• Experience with hardware platform architecture design.
• Experience with schematic and BOM capture.
