Senior Diagnostics Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and implement diagnostics architecture across vehicle domains including powertrain, energy, ADAS, chassis, body, and infotainment
• Own end-to-end validation and sign-off for diagnostics systems to ensure release readiness before SOP
• Establish acceptance criteria for ECU diagnostics functionality and validate fault handling behavior
• Execute validation across SIL, HIL, and vehicle integration testing environments
• Design scalable regression test suites for ECU communication systems
• Perform deep debugging of network issues such as CAN bus load saturation, message timing drift, and gateway routing failures
• Analyze ECU interactions under stress, fault injection, and edge conditions
• Use diagnostic protocols like UDS (ISO 14229) to validate ECU behavior
• Coordinate integration across Powertrain, Electrification, ADAS, Infotainment, and Central Compute
• Drive root cause analysis of cross-domain issues and support integration war-room activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, A2B, LVDS)
• Expertise in UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229) and diagnostic communication tools
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Proficiency in ALM/PLM tools such as Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace control desk, and automation desk
• Familiarity with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer and CANoe
