Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure in AWS
• Lead migration projects to move legacy, customer-hosted systems into cloud-native architectures
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Modernize CI/CD practices to enable safe, rapid service delivery
• Improve operational visibility through monitoring, logging, and tracing
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and design reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system reliability and cost-efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and distributed architectures
• Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience operating containerized workloads (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Bash, Python, or Go
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Java application environments and JVM tuning
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Knowledge of Cloudflare (DNS, security, and CDN layers)
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL in production environments
• Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Experience with observability platforms like Datadog, Splunk, or ELK
