Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve secure Kubernetes platform patterns for cloud, on-premises, and edge deployments
• Own CI/CD and GitOps delivery architecture using GitHub Workflows, GitLab CI, Argo CD, Flux, Helm, and Kustomize
• Lead DevSecOps practices including container hardening, SBOM generation, and vulnerability management
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible
• Support and optimize MLOps workloads using Kafka, Flink, KServe, and Kubeflow
• Build observability patterns using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Automate compliance evidence aligned with RMF, STIGs, and FedRAMP
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs
• Engage with customers in Hawaii to support deployments and resolve incidents

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure
• 5+ years of production experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Deep experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Flux, Helm)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with software supply chain security (SBOM, SCA, SAST/DAST)
• Ability to read and contribute to code in Go, Java, or Python
• Active Secret clearance required; eligibility for TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days
• Must be willing to work onsite in Oahu, HI
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with air-gapped or classified environments
• Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh
• Experience with OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, or Sigstore
• Background with AWS or Azure infrastructure
• Experience supporting GPU-enabled Kubernetes workloads or MLOps
• Existing TS/SCI clearance
