Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across hybrid cloud environments including GCP, OCI, and on-prem.
• Design and automate secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps practices.
• Build and operate monitoring, observability, and alerting stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Proactively address reliability, latency, and availability issues to meet strict SLA objectives.
• Lead on-call rotations and incident response, including conducting detailed postmortems and RCA reports.
• Champion security and compliance standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems administration and internals.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash/Shell and at least one programming language (Python or Go).
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers, specifically GCP or OCI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in fintech or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Exposure to Cloudflare or other edge/network security platforms.
• Experience managing distributed databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
