Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND-01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots.

Responsibilities

• Augment and maintain the firmware portion of the Bazel-based build system
• Integrate and automate specialized third-party tooling for functional safety
• Architect and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines for build integrity and traceability
• Optimize GitHub Actions and runner infrastructure
• Design and manage infrastructure for automated hardware testing and HIL environments
• Create internal tooling using Python to bridge build, test, and analysis systems
• Partner with firmware engineers to minimize development friction

Requirements

• Proven expertise with Bazel, Git, and GitHub Actions
• Advanced proficiency in Python for internal tooling and automation
• Experience with embedded toolchains (GNU, LLVM/Clang) and cross-compilation
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or lab automation platforms
• Ability to manage complex CI/CD ecosystems and custom runner infrastructure
• Track record of owning critical infrastructure independently
