Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automation processes for infrastructure and application provisioning via IaC
• Standardize and streamline CI/CD build and release pipelines
• Configure and administer platforms and services
• Support operational activities to ensure platforms are optimal, recoverable, and scalable
• Provide incident management oversight including root cause analysis and stakeholder communications
• Ensure security, high availability, and disaster recovery are integrated into all processes
• Monitor cost and risk to reduce and mitigate impact
• Mentor and support other engineers to grow the collaborative environment

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a similar DevOps role
• Proficiency with CI/CD toolchains such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, or Artifactory
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Linux Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Proficiency in IaC techniques including Terraform, YAML, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Experience configuring, securing, and administering Azure platforms (PaaS, IaaS)
• Knowledge of distributed data platforms like Azure ADLS or Data Lakes
• Experience with vulnerability management and code-inspection tools like Snyk or SonarQube
• Automation-first mindset with focus on self-healing and fault-tolerant methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API-led event-driven architecture using Azure Event Grid or Azure Functions
• Knowledge of cluster image container management via Azure Container Registry
• Understanding of network configuration including DNS, Routing, VPN, and Firewalls
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda (Node.js/TypeScript) and API Gateway
• Exposure to React-based frontend architecture and end-to-end telemetry
• Experience with A/B testing and experiment logging
