Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and implement robust, high-performance deployment systems for highly available Kubernetes environments
• Design, develop, and optimize resilient and scalable microservices architectures
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve fully automated CI/CD pipelines
• Lead the migration of existing Ansible-based deployment systems to modern, K8s-native CI/CD solutions
• Develop and optimize mission-critical IT systems with high availability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with development teams, operations, and product management to implement technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, ideally in backend or cloud-native technologies
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including K8s Operators
• Practical experience with Ansible for automation
• Experience with Helm for package management
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems
• Proven experience in developing and operating microservices-based applications
• Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Knowledge of Solace PubSub+ for messaging solutions
• Experience with OpenBao for secrets management
• German language skills
