Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to move code from commit to production safely and repeatably.
• Automate AWS workload provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK).
• Build and operate deployment automation, release tooling, and environment management.
• Harden the developer experience by creating repository templates, pipeline templates, and self-service tooling.
• Integrate security and compliance controls, including secrets management and access control, into pipelines.
• Apply networking fundamentals such as routing, segmentation, DNS, and TLS to design secure environments.
• Collaborate with architects, security engineers, and platform teams to ensure reliable delivery in a regulated environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Extensive experience working within AWS environments, preferably in financial services or PCI-DSS compliant systems.
• Proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, specifically using AWS CDK.
• Practical experience implementing observability for hybrid and cloud-based environments.
• Strong working knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, RDS, EKS, ECS, and Secrets Manager.
• Experience with observability tooling such as CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics, or ELK.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including SLOs and incident response.
• Ability to troubleshoot low-latency, Java-based applications in production.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with Ansible, CloudFormation, or Kubernetes.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certifications.
