Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Build and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development and deployment processes.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance are integrated throughout the SDLC.
• Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the DevOps industry.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Proficiency with configuration and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Istio, or Helm.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking (OSI model, DNS, routing, SSL), and virtualization.
• Experience with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the SDLC.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Docker Certified Associate (DCA).
• Puppet Certified Professional.
