Senior Device Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and electromechanical engineering support for sustaining existing medical products and developing new projects
• Conduct product investigations and root cause analysis to resolve product issues and meet customer requirements
• Prepare and maintain product documentation, including specifications, bills of material, hazard/risk analysis, and test procedures
• Perform mechanical tests and experiments to ensure designs meet industry standards, safety margins, and reliability goals
• Participate in project teams to assist with plan definition, estimation, scheduling, and reporting
• Develop specifications, packaging, and labeling in accordance with regulatory requirements and design controls
• Contribute to new and supplemental regulatory submissions and generate Intellectual Property submissions
• Train and provide direction to technicians, manufacturing personnel, and suppliers

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in the medical device industry
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
• Familiarity with QSR / GMP regulations
• Ability to interpret and resolve complex technical and design issues

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
