Senior Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure residential development opportunities (10+ apartments)
• Build and manage agent networks and source off-market opportunities
• Run detailed feasibilities including GRV, costs, and margins
• Assess risk, planning constraints, and upside
• Manage consultants including planners, architects, and engineers
• Drive DA strategy and navigate council approvals, zoning, and overlays
• Oversee projects through design, tender, and construction
• Manage builders, budgets, and timelines to ensure profitable delivery

Requirements

• Proven track record delivering multi-residential projects (10+ units) end-to-end
• Strong feasibility and financial modelling skills
• Deep understanding of the Sydney planning system and councils
• Existing relationships with agents, consultants, and builders
• Commercial mindset with an owner-operator approach
• Ability to demonstrate projects personally driven from acquisition to completion
