Senior Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of an annual fundraising event portfolio exceeding $400,000
• Build and sustain high-level relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners
• Drive revenue through proactive prospecting, identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgets, vendor relationships, and brand positioning
• Recruit and manage volunteer leadership to support event success and long-term engagement
• Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing and coordinator support, to ensure seamless event execution
• Monitor fundraising progress and expenses against benchmarks to optimize return on investment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in fundraising and relationship development
• Proven experience driving revenue through sales and donor cultivation
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and timelines
• Excellent relationship-building, persuasion, and influence skills
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in New York, NY, including evening and weekend events
• Willingness to be in the market an average of 3 days per week
