Senior Development Manager, AI/ML Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software and ML developers in the design and execution of the AMP machine learning platform.
• Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for next-generation Agentic AI features within Autodesk products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and cloud infrastructure, to ensure platform adoption.
• Provide architectural guidance for scalable, reliable, and efficient AI/ML systems.
• Manage tactical execution, including budgets, schedules, and performance tracking using agile methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews and hands-on problem-solving to maintain engineering excellence.
• Lead hiring efforts to attract and onboard top-tier engineering talent.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a management role.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performance software and ML development teams.
• Expertise in building and running scalable production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying AI models using tools like AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, or Azure Machine Learning.
• Strong background in deep learning, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
• Deep understanding of MLOps principles, CI/CD, and automation for machine learning lifecycles.
• Experience working with complex agentic AI architectures, API ecosystems, and context management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building highly scalable and performant AI/ML platforms.
• Strong expertise in Scrum and agile development processes.
• Ability to align technical objectives with long-term business goals and incremental delivery.
