Senior Development Manager, AI/ML Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software and ML developers in the design and execution of the next-generation AI/ML platform (AMP).
• Drive the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of scalable Agentic AI features and machine learning systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and cloud infrastructure, to define the platform roadmap.
• Manage tactical execution, including budgets, schedules, and performance tracking, following agile methodologies.
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture through code reviews, problem-solving, and active recruitment of top-tier talent.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a management role.
• Proven experience building and running scalable, high-performance production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying AI models using tools such as AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, or Azure Machine Learning.
• Strong background in deep learning, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
• Deep understanding of MLOps principles, CI/CD, and automation for the machine learning lifecycle.
• Experience working with complex agentic AI architectures, API ecosystems, and context management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building highly scalable and performant AI/ML platforms.
• Seasoned expertise in Scrum and agile development processes.
• Ability to align long-term technical vision with short-term business objectives and incremental delivery.
