Senior Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop overall architecture for Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop scalable backend systems and integrate AI/LLM services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI)
• Implement caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, or Ehcache
• Utilize messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures
• Create and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Java programming, including multithreading and JVM internals
• Experience designing and implementing microservices with Spring Boot
• In-depth knowledge of database technologies and SQL optimization
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in creating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with the Netflix OSS ecosystem (Eureka, Hystrix, Ribbon)
• Proven experience in large-scale enterprise systems
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-native deployment and container orchestration
• Knowledge of distributed caching and monitoring tools
