Senior Developer (SRE)

Responsibilities

• Drive meaningful improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency across teams.
• Lead embedded SRE engagements and own complex infrastructure initiatives.
• Define and implement service-level objectives (SLOs) and guide incident strategy.
• Reduce organizational toil through the development of scalable tooling and durable design.
• Mentor team members to grow their technical expertise and shape reliability standards.
• Review High-Level Designs (HLDs) aligned with high-reliability architecture models.
• Shape and enforce best practices and coding standards across the team.

Requirements

• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages.
• Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language or scripting language to automate toil.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Istio Service Mesh.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Proficiency with Docker, Helm, and GitHub.
• Experience with tools such as Terragrunt, Chef, Packer, or PagerDuty.
• Ability to navigate unstructured requirements and provide robust technical solutions.
