Senior Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decision-making for scrum teams in collaboration with architects and technical leads
• Design and develop microservices-based cloud solutions using platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google GCP
• Mentor and coach developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high code quality
• Analyze complex business requirements to generate technical specifications for software components
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and product roadmaps
• Provide production support and perform application performance analysis and tuning

Requirements

• 8+ years of web service development with Java (including JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Spring Boot, and Swagger/OAS)
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based microservices (Azure, PCF, or GCP)
• 5+ years of experience with Java Frameworks such as Spring, JUnit, and Log4j
• 5+ years of experience with JSON/RESTful, XML, and SOAP services
• 5+ years of database development experience using SQL, AzureSQL, Sybase, or MS SQL
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps)
• Experience with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architectures, and reactive programming

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed system design patterns (circuit breakers, service discovery, routing)
• Development experience with JavaScript (ES6+), React/Redux, ExpressJS, and Jest/Mocha
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, including topics, brokers, and stream processing
• Experience with batch process development and shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments
