Senior Developer – Investment Technologies

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line operational and production support to the U.S. Equity Trading Desk.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot high-performance trading systems for equity, ETF, and derivatives trading.
• Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Product Owners to deliver custom technical solutions.
• Proactively monitor production systems for alerts and outages, leading root cause analysis to minimize risk.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff and coordinate with global teams.
• Ensure application performance levels are met and resolve support requests within service level agreements.
• Design, develop, and implement applications and databases, including the integration of third-party products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience, including at least 2 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in AWS, Python, Java, and MS Office programming tools.
• Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to work in-office in Malvern, PA, 5 days per week.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investment technology or working on a trading floor.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with microservices architecture and large-scale financial systems.
