Senior Developer Experience Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain sophisticated developer tooling, frameworks, and automation
• Lead and contribute to improvements and optimizations of CI/CD pipelines
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bottlenecks within development workflows
• Develop comprehensive documentation, training materials, and advocate for best practices
• Monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance of development infrastructure and tooling
• Collect and act upon feedback from developers to address pain points
• Collaborate with development, operations, security, and product teams
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in software engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, developer tools, or developer operations
• Expert proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or similar scripting and programming languages
• Extensive experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub, Flux CD, and Harness
• Experience with artifact management and repository tools such as JFrog Artifactory
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Copilot
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Proven track record in agile software development and DevOps methodologies
