Senior Developer (Angular+Java)

Responsibilities

• Lead technological and conceptual design, proposing architectural evolutions and operational models.
• Develop high-quality, fully tested source code in compliance with deadlines and coding standards.
• Build and maintain features for a pre-trade application, focusing on RFQ workflows and real-time pricing.
• Liaise with business analysts to clarify requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Provide deployment, change management, and level 3 technical assistance for production applications.
• Analyze enhancement requests, resolve bugs, and propose system optimizations.
• Support the release roadmap and monthly release strategies following team milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 12 years of software development experience, with 8+ years focused on front-end development.
• Advanced proficiency in Angular 19+ and deep knowledge of AG Grid, NgRx, and Angular signals.
• Strong experience with Java, Python, REST APIs, and FastAPI.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and AWS.
• Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, Redis) and distributed systems.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Ability to effectively utilize AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in Linux and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with the Mercury ecosystem, including JupyterLab and JupyterHub.
• Interest or experience in financial markets, specifically interest rate derivatives (IRS, Forwards, Futures, etc.).
• Knowledge of web fundamentals such as TypeScript, ReactJS, and jQuery.
