Senior Developer, AI Engineering

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead for AI engineering initiatives, owning design decisions for complex, high-impact AI solutions.
• Design and implement production-grade AI services and pipelines (batch and real-time) with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Lead the implementation of Generative AI patterns such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and agent workflows.
• Design and implement automated ML/LLM delivery pipelines covering training, evaluation, deployment, and rollback.
• Embed AI governance into engineering workflows, including security, data classification, and model risk management.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Architecture teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory expectations.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to raise the technical bar across the AI engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI solutions in Azure and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience delivering AI solutions within regulated industries such as banking, financial services, or healthcare.
• Deep understanding of production concerns including reliability, observability, security, and cost management.
• Experience with enterprise MLOps/LLMOps tooling and platform design.
