Senior Developer Advocate

Responsibilities

• Enhance and develop customer-facing SDKs and libraries to empower builders to succeed with Neon
• Create developer-focused content including videos, tutorials, sample projects, and blog posts
• Drive adoption through community engagement, conference presence, and online spaces like Discord
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to surface community insights and influence the roadmap
• Create and manage programs such as creator and ambassador initiatives and open source collaborations
• Gather and analyze community feedback to improve the developer journey

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Developer Advocate, software engineer, or solutions architect
• Professional experience building and shipping software or data solutions
• Demonstrated skill in creating impactful technical content for developers
• Mastery in at least one core advocacy skill such as public speaking, technical writing, or live demos
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of active involvement in developer communities like meetups, forums, or open source
