Senior Designer, Textiles, Pillows

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily functions of the design development process for the pillow category
• Translate seasonal concept direction into cohesive and innovative collections
• Collaborate with the print team to develop prints that align with seasonal concepts
• Build seasonal presentations to convey category direction and lead design presentations
• Partner with Product Development and merchant partners to ensure design intent and timeline adherence
• Work with overseas vendors to achieve desired quality, look, and technical specifications
• Monitor the competitive landscape and translate trend insights into actionable design direction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of design work experience, preferably in home furnishings or textiles
• Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong conceptual vision with deep technical expertise in woven, printed, and embellished textiles
• Must provide a portfolio link (including password) or PDF work samples with application
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in the Dumbo, Brooklyn office
