Senior Designer, Ready-to-Wear Runway

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design Directors and Creative leadership to develop seasonal runway and Vogue.com collections
• Research and interpret fashion trends, art, and culture into original design concepts
• Create detailed hand sketches, digital sketches, and technical flats for garments
• Partner with patternmakers, sample rooms, and product development teams to oversee prototype creation and fittings
• Maintain mood boards, design decks, and line sheets throughout the design process
• Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, fit, and brand identity
• Assist in preparing looks for runway shows, lookbooks, and special presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in fashion design
• 4+ years of experience specifically in luxury or runway apparel
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and CAD software
• Exceptional sketching, draping, and garment construction skills
• Strong understanding of high-end fabrics, construction techniques, and finishing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
