Senior Designer, NSW Womens Apparel Color Design

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute color strategies and palettes for Women's Sportswear collections
• Develop seasonal color narratives and build strong presentation tools
• Create color line art to detail the creation of each product
• Research and deliver directional work that influences product aesthetic and target audience
• Collaborate with the Design Triad (Apparel, Color, Graphics, Print) and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Merchandising, and Development
• Build industry-leading color mood boards that integrate consumer insights and storytelling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in product design, CMF design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 4-6 years of experience in color or apparel design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) on a Mac platform
• Strong understanding of color technology, including materials, dyes, washes, and finishes
• Ability to conduct in-depth trend and market research to drive innovative design solutions
• Strong communication skills for meeting facilitation and high-profile presentations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel locally and globally as needed
