Senior Designer, Footwear Product Design

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of Nike Golf Footwear by crafting new standards of fit, form, and construction.
• Create innovative, athlete-informed footwear designs that advance performance and aesthetic for the golf consumer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, marketing, and development to ensure design feasibility and meeting price points.
• Develop technical drawings to communicate design intent clearly to manufacturing factories.
• Generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project, seeking recommendations regarding testing, sustainability, and manufacturability.
• Present design concepts to various internal audiences and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in product design or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 5-7 years of experience in footwear design and development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering components.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D design programs.
• Hands-on cobbling and prototyping skills.
• Experience engaging directly with athletes and external partners.
