Senior Design Strategist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by framing complex challenges and applying human-centered design approaches
• Lead mixed-method research efforts including stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, and ecosystem analysis
• Develop compelling visual frameworks, service blueprints, and strategic narratives to communicate complex information
• Design and facilitate workshops, design sprints, and co-creation activities to drive organizational alignment
• Mentor teammates through coaching, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communication, Sociology, Psychology, Human-Centered Design, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in design strategy, service design, UX, research, or consulting
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Expertise in human-centered design, design thinking, and systems thinking
• Proven experience in workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
• Portfolio demonstrating both design execution and strategic decision-making
