About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design and development from concept to production
- Create and review 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and engineering documentation
- Perform design validation, tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and GD&T
- Collaborate with sourcing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless industrialization
- Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and resolve design challenges
- Mentor junior design engineers and establish engineering best practices
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in product design and development
- Mandatory background in Fasteners
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks
