About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes for capital projects
- Perform technical reviews for sustainability and resiliency during design, construction, and post-construction phases
- Implement LEED compliance strategies and manage certification documentation
- Lead energy master planning and building performance evaluations
- Attend project and site meetings
- Liaise with DDC Program Unit staff, design consultants, commissioning agents, and contractors
- Participate in research and development programs to influence codified policy change
Requirements
- Valid New York State Registration as an Architect
- Six years of full-time paid experience in architectural work
- At least two years of experience as an administrative architect
- Must be permanent in the Administrative Architect title or on the appropriate civil service promotional/open-competitive lists
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
