Senior Design Researcher

Responsibilities

• Localize and execute complex research initiatives as part of multi-site data collection efforts to gather global design and product feedback.
• Collaborate closely with the WHOOP Labs Boston team to plan, execute, and analyze global design studies.
• Support localization of protocols for execution in Doha, including adjustments to activities, session structures, or sampling.
• Own research initiatives to support region-specific questions and remote global studies.
• Develop and maintain clear research plans, workflows, and deliverables, adapting to evolving priorities.
• Coordinate research timelines and dependencies using project management tools to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate research updates and findings clearly, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Lab Management, and other researchers to ensure successful end-to-end study delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or professional experience in UX research, human factors, psychology, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience conducting research in product, design, marketing, or similar environments.
• Expertise in mixed-methods research relevant to software product development and hardware data collection.
• Strong project and program management skills, with proficiency in tools like Jira.
• Fluency in verbal and written English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Doha locals in both English and Arabic.
• Must currently reside in Doha, Qatar.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including at least two evenings per week.
