Senior Design Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes for design deliverables
• Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure consistency, usability, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to identify and resolve design issues
• Create and maintain design quality documentation, including style guides and best practices
• Provide constructive feedback to design teams to enhance overall quality and efficiency
• Work across projects from initial benchmarks and target settings through to industrialization
• Perform Design Quality assessment and reviews on complete vehicle level as well as on part level
• Review and highlight visual surface quality problems within digital and physical models
• Highlight quality demands in each stage of project and call for quality reviews
• Provide support to the design department regarding technical constraints and design execution best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years Automotive experience
• Background as Digital Modeler or in Design Quality
• Strong understanding of shape and surface quality
• Ability to assess Design Quality through physical and digital models (Alias, ICEM, Catia, VRED)
• Technical university degree or equivalent
• Experience with Design Quality equipment and AAR-process
• Ability to assess and review Design Quality on production and pre-production parts
• Knowledge of component manufacturing, tooling requirements, and lead times
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel
