Senior Design Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process and Architect/Engineer from master planning through construction drawings
• Work with General Contractor and Architect/Engineer to establish the Master Project Schedule
• Coordinate Design Team activities and constructability reviews
• Drive design meetings to optimize design and minimize unnecessary work
• Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables, and pricing with consulting firms
• Track and manage external design and cost issues
• Meet with stakeholders to obtain design input and signoff

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in large-scale construction projects
• Experience in Commercial, Corporate Office, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or High-tech sectors
• Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Proficiency in formal Project Management methods
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center construction or heavy industry
