Senior Design Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery, planning, design, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion
• Manage and coordinate design interfaces with third parties, consultants, contractors, and design reviewers
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, coordinators, and contractors
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify/mitigate financial risks
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and milestones
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements, client specifications, and safety standards
• Facilitate effective communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
• Review and approve design documents and drawings while monitoring progress against project plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum 20 years of project management experience
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale infrastructure or developments
• Demonstrated success managing multi-phase project delivery with complex interdependencies
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with local authority and regulatory environments
• Background in client-side project management, construction management, or design management
