Senior Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and review architectural and interior concepts for new hotels and renovation projects
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and international standards
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to guarantee technical and aesthetic feasibility
• Oversee integration of design with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Validate materials, finishes, and furniture to meet luxury standards and withstand coastal environments
• Present design proposals and progress updates to owners, investors, and executive teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years in design and project management for hospitality projects
• Proven experience in construction and renovation in coastal or island environments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
• Knowledge of Bahamian regulations and international standards
• Advanced English fluency
• Willingness to travel and reside temporarily in the Bahamas during critical project phases

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Project Management
• Spanish language proficiency
