Senior Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear project objectives and manage scope
• Lead Infrastructure and Tool Install projects from conceptualization through construction
• Manage permitting, construction documents, transmittals, and RFIs
• Coordinate project schedules with Procurement and Construction partners
• Identify resource requirements and manage project funding requests
• Define project delivery strategies including design-bid-build and fast-track projects
• Implement innovative engineering and design methodologies using BIM and lean construction principles
• Support feasibility studies, value engineering, and options analysis

Requirements

• B.S. in Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience managing multi-disciplinary scopes in A/E or Design Engineering firms
• Experience designing manufacturing facilities and site infrastructure
• Proficiency in managing engineering resources and understanding multiple disciplines
• Experience working with building codes and regulatory jurisdictions
• Advanced project and program management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S. in a relevant engineering field
• PE or RA License
