Senior Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery across designated workstreams, ensuring seamless coordination with other project areas
• Supervise design consultants and supply chain partners to maintain quality and compliance with project programmes
• Manage design risks and opportunities within your workstream to ensure timely deliverables
• Support client interfaces, including user groups and stakeholder engagements
• Line manage and mentor design management team members to support their career development

Requirements

• Experience leading design on complex projects (£50m to £150m) or managing packages on major projects (over £250m), preferably in healthcare
• Construction qualifications (minimum HND, HNC, or T Level) in a relevant discipline
• Strong technical knowledge of industry regulations and digital applications in construction
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to nurture professional relationships
