Senior Design Manager - Architecture

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor all architectural design activities, ensuring alignment across structural, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Act as the primary design interface to resolve conflicts and ensure multidisciplinary integration.
• Manage engagement with architectural and multidisciplinary consultants to ensure compliance with design briefs and technical standards.
• Implement design governance processes, including change management and structured design reviews.
• Review architectural submissions and detailed design packages to ensure completeness and minimize clashes.
• Chair coordination meetings and track actions across all disciplines to support the design programme.
• Collaborate with Development and Commercial teams to align design solutions with budgets and value engineering targets.
• Assess buildability and construction sequencing to ensure design packages are practical and construction-ready.
• Support the preparation of design briefs, Scopes of Work, and guidelines.
• Monitor consultant performance and contribute to technical evaluations during procurement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design management.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
• Deep understanding of sustainable design practices and building codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
