About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of complex capital projects to support high-quality, viable designs
- Ensure design importance throughout the project lifecycle from planning to close-out
- Support consensus building among project stakeholders regarding design approvals, budgets, and schedules
- Work with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and consultants to develop responsive designs
- Serve as the single point of contact with the Public Design Commission
- Manage monthly submissions process for the agency
- Prepare publications, presentations, reports, and organize events such as Peer Reviews and Design Value evaluations
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in architecture from an accredited institution
- Two years of full-time experience in urban design development, planning, or research
- Graduate work in architecture, urban design, or city planning may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
