Senior Design Liaison

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of complex capital projects to support high-quality, viable, and sustainable designs
• Ensure design importance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and consultant selection to construction and close-out
• Build consensus among stakeholders regarding design approvals, budgetary constraints, and schedule requirements
• Work with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and consultants to develop responsive designs
• Serve as the single point of contact with the Public Design Commission, managing monthly submissions
• Prepare publications, presentations, reports, and organize events such as Peer Reviews and Design Value evaluations

Requirements

• Valid New York State Registration as a Landscape Architect
• Master's degree in landscape architecture and 3 years of full-time experience, OR 4 years of full-time experience
• Must be permanent in the Landscape Architect title or on the Open-Competitive List (Exam #6066)
• Authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a major contributor or project leader on complex projects requiring specific expertise in design or construction disciplines
