Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for creating detailed and parameterized CAD models using Onshape
• Collaborate with architecture and manufacturing teams to convert concepts into fabrication-ready digital models
• Establish and maintain best practices for 3D model management, file structure, and revision control
• Act as a technical interface between manufacturing, operations, architecture, and software teams
• Lead the generation of mechanical concepts and feasibility studies for parametric assemblies
• Design, build, and iterate on functional prototypes and execute Design Verification Testing (DVT)

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering or detailed product design
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Expert-level proficiency in parametric CAD systems such as Onshape, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Experience managing large-scale, complex 3D assemblies and data management
• Proven ability to solve complex, multidisciplinary engineering problems
• Strong attention to detail for producing manufacturing-ready models
• Ability to mentor junior team members
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
