Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Capacitive Touch Engine (CTE) design and development, including analog front-end acquisition control and digital signal processing.
• Define and optimize CTE acquisition sequencing and control architecture.
• Design, implement, and verify RTL using Verilog and SystemVerilog for sensing and signal processing.
• Develop high-performance embedded routines to control AFE acquisition and processing.
• Support silicon bring-up, debug, and feature validation.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues across analog, digital, and firmware domains.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in silicon, firmware, and applications engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of industry experience in digital or mixed-signal IC design.
• Proven expertise in RTL design and verification using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Strong embedded C programming skills.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures.
• Proficiency in modeling, scripting, or data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Collaborative, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PIC, ARM, or other embedded MCU platforms.
• Exposure to functional safety or automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, IEC/UL 60730).
• Knowledge of capacitive touch sensing systems.
• Familiarity with display technologies such as OLED, micro-LED, or large-format touch systems.
