Senior Design Engineer MEP

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, detailed technical plans for MEP systems using CAD programs to convert engineering specifications into schematics and blueprints
• Collect and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts for project manager review
• Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for MEP systems based on specific client requirements
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure design accuracy and consistency
• Verify that final technical drafts include all relevant information and that all calculations, measurements, and units are accurate
• Review and update technical drafts based on instructions from project managers, engineering teams, and clients
• Support the design process by contributing ideas and creating rough sketches of electrical wiring and systems
• Assist in preparing technical documents and presentation materials for client meetings, investors, and trade shows

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional experience in MEP design or a related engineering field
• Proficiency in CAD programs and computer-aided design software
• Proven ability to create detailed technical drafts and schematics
• Strong knowledge of MEP wiring diagrams and electrical systems
