Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new and improved rubber track systems from initial concept through validation to series production
• Perform structural and kinematic analyses using various analytical tools to ensure product reliability
• Investigate and identify solutions for field and production issues on prototype and production products
• Manage project schedules while meeting established product cost and reliability targets
• Provide production line support for prototype, pilot, and series builds
• Support purchasing departments with vendor selection, technical reviews, and issue resolution
• Manage detailed design changes, BOM development, and print revisions

Requirements

• B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
• 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry
• Proficiency in CAD modeling
• Strong knowledge of farm equipment and machinery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 10% per year for customer site visits and international projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous design experience specifically with rubber track systems
• Proficiency with PTC Creo
• Experience with GD&T and drafting
• Structural analysis experience using ANSYS
• Dynamic analysis experience using LMS
• Hands-on experience in machinery repair or fabrication
