Senior Design Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform testing procedures on analog, digital, and logic circuits, components, and instruments
• Troubleshoot test failures and company-manufactured products to a functional block or component level
• Assemble, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on test systems and fixtures
• Setup and operate manual or automated test systems per instructions
• Construct moderately complex circuits from schematic diagrams using through-hole and surface-mount soldering
• Conduct performance tests and record measurement results in spreadsheets
• Write and release simple to moderately complex test procedures and reports
• Train operators and lower-level technicians on the proper use of test systems

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or an equivalent field
• 3+ years of experience as a laboratory technician or equivalent technical experience
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies
• Strong circuit troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a laboratory technician or equivalent technical experience
