About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical authority for DeltaV engineering standards and design decisions
- Develop and improve processes, procedures, and templates associated with DeltaV
- Provide technical direction, training, and mentorship to engineering staff
- Act as a DeltaV consultant and primary technical point of contact for client engagements
- Develop proposals and estimates for DeltaV project opportunities
- Ensure technical accuracy and soundness of engineering practices based on project requirements
- Develop and maintain quality assurance programs for DeltaV systems
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of DeltaV experience
- Ability to architect and design new DeltaV systems
- Expertise in Batch processing and ISA 88 methodologies
- Proficiency in DeltaV Control Studio, Operate, Live, and System Architecture
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, OPC, Profibus, Modbus)
- Understanding of GMP documentation, validation lifecycle, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to travel 15-25% locally and overnight
