Senior Debug System Engineer, Datacenter

Responsibilities

• Drive failure analysis and debug efforts for datacenter GPU products during the mass production phase
• Perform failure analysis (FA) on GPU baseboards and servers at rack, system, and component levels
• Analyze logs and failures spanning Hardware (HW), Software (SW), and Firmware (FW) to propose mitigation strategies
• Build experiments and collect/analyze data to identify root causes for failure analysis
• Engage in Build for Test and Manufacturing (DFx) enabling efforts to ensure timely product delivery
• Provide root cause and corrective action plans through clear and complete technical reports
• Develop debug guides for partner teams and customers
• Communicate effectively with industry vendors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams globally

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Extensive failure analysis or debug experience on motherboards, graphic cards, servers, or datacenter products
• Demonstrated knowledge in enabling DFx requirements
• Proficiency with sophisticated characterization equipment, including oscilloscopes and analyzers
• Strong problem-solving mentality and ability to work both independently and within a team
• Excellent negotiation, organization, and time management skills
