Senior Dealer Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Support assigned dealerships in achieving wholesale and retail sales goals through operational analysis, financial review, and inventory management
• Conduct routine dealership site visits to assess sales processes, meet with leadership, and recommend actions to improve performance and compliance
• Review sales reports, financial statements, cash flow, and marketing effectiveness to propose adjustments for improved ROI and car mix
• Train and guide dealership staff on incentive programs, commercial vehicle sales, and customer-experience practices
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Support dealership events, market representation activities, and ensure compliance with dealer agreements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 6+ years of progressive marketing and sales experience
• 3+ years of analytical work within the automotive industry
• 2+ years of direct dealer-contact support experience
• Ability to travel more than 75% (day and overnight domestic travel)
• Must reside in the San Diego, CA area

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience and prior sales experience
• Working knowledge of sales-related systems and PC applications
• Proven ability to influence others and build credibility through dealership knowledge and effective communication
