Senior Dealer Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Support assigned dealerships in achieving wholesale and retail sales goals through operational analysis and financial review
• Conduct routine dealership site visits to assess sales processes, meet with leadership, and recommend performance improvements
• Review sales reports, financial statements, inventory, and marketing effectiveness to propose adjustments for better ROI
• Train and guide dealership staff on incentive programs, commercial vehicle sales, and customer-experience practices
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Ensure dealership compliance with company standards, dealer agreements, and performance policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 6+ years of progressive marketing and sales experience
• 3+ years of analytical work within the automotive industry
• 2+ years of direct dealer-contact support experience
• Ability to travel more than 75% (day and overnight domestic travel)
• Must reside in the San Diego, CA area

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience and prior sales experience
• Working knowledge of sales-related systems and PC applications
• Proven ability to influence others and build credibility through dealership knowledge
