About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive wholesale and retail performance by advising dealerships on sales operations, inventory management, and promotions
- Conduct regular dealership site visits to assess sales effectiveness, operations, and leadership alignment
- Review sales reports and financial statements to monitor inventory, cash flow, and profitability
- Evaluate dealership marketing and advertising strategies to recommend high-impact programs
- Analyze market conditions, registration data, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Educate dealership staff on incentive, reward, and specialty vehicle programs including commercial and EV fleets
- Monitor vehicle inventory levels and car mix to address aged inventory and optimize ordering
- Partner with regional teams to align model allocation and distribution with market demand
- Assess customer experience and retail operations to implement best practices and improve satisfaction scores
- Support leadership with dealer compliance, communications, and dealership transitions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
- 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience
- 3 years of analytical experience within the automotive industry (e.g., Sales Ops, Market Analytics, or Pricing)
- Experience in dealer contact support roles (such as FSM, FOM, or DOM)
- Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and other PC applications
- Proven ability to interpret financial statements and key operating reports to drive strategy
- Ability to manage own schedule and work effectively in a virtual office environment
- Willingness to travel more than 75% (including day and overnight domestic travel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of Nissan Sales & Service Way Training or Model Line Certification
- Experience supervising others in a sales capacity
- Completion of Nissan Way Leadership Academy Certification
